Who is Charlotte?

Hi. My name is Charlotte and I am originally from the stunning Skagen at the top of Denmark where The 2 Seas meet. I love the light, the fresh air and doing outdoor activities. I call
the great oudoors my gym.
I am a mum of two and our family has lived in London in the Wimbledon and Esher area for more than 10 years. I know Wimbledon Common, Richmond and Bushy Park very well from my running
and marathon training. When I took part in The Real Berlin Marathon I discovered Nordic walking, the many health, fitness and sports benefits.
I found Nordic walking was great way of cross training to stay injury free for my running. I decided to make a career change, study personal training, sports massage therapy with Premier Training in Guildford. Then I did the INWA Nordic walking instructor training with NWUK and I have been specializing in Nordic walking classes, 1-2-1 sessions and training for endurance events.
After having successfully completed my studies, I did the massages at a small, friendly gym in Wimbledon whilst having my 5 weekly Nordic walking classes outdoors. I quickly found out that the personal approach suited me. I have a special interest in working directly with people, and want to cater to each individual as much as possible. I enjoy working 1-2-1 with the Nordic walking as my clients experience the benefits straight away.
I have trained a number of clients for trekking events like Machu Picchu, Toubkal mountain, Mt Kilimanjaro and Base Camp Everest. The highlight of my
career was to train the amazing 62 year old Jan Meek to complete The Polar Race as part of the first mother and son team to reach the Magnetic North Pole.
For the past 2 years, we have lived in Esher and I have been offering Sports and Swedish massages at The 1-2-1 Osteopathic and Sports Injury clinic. I enjoy every minute of
helping people relax with a Swedish Massage and recover with a deep tissue Sports massage from their training, inuries or everyday stresses of life. The convenience of living close to the
clinic allows me great flexibility. Usually, I can fit you in for a massage with few hours notice.
I currently offer 7 weekly Nordic walking, Ultimate Nordic Fit and Weight Loss classes on Wimbledon and Esher Common. I also organize longer walking events and have been running classes for Age UK around Surrey.
I have been calling this wonderful city home and continue to love it. I love the beautiful parks of London and the outstanding Surrey Hill scenery.
